Intermediate Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer - To $115 + super
Building Services Engineering isn't rocket science.
If you pay good salaries, you get good people.
And if you agree a sensible fee from the beginning of a project, you then get enough time to do things properly.
Established over a decade ago, this HVAC consultancy based in North Sydney has a reputation for making the impossible possible.
Led by a friendly and supporting Director who is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), NER-registered engineer, Fellow of Engineers Australia they believe if something is worth doing, it's worth doing right the first time.
Due to growth, they are looking for an Intermediate Mechanical (HVAC / Building Services) Engineer who enjoys autonomy and wants to work on complex buildings. Someone that values "proper HVAC engineering" where documentation is detailed enough that what gets designed, is what actually gets built.
As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you'll work directly with the Founder and the senior team on design-and-construct projects from 50% through to construction, working closely with mechanical contractors along the way. This is a hands-on role with real ownership and you'll be trusted to run your own drafting in AutoCAD and Revit rather than handing it off, and to get properly involved in the nuts and bolts of how a building is delivered.
Having recently moved to a new office their plan is to double in size over the next five years. That means genuine room for you to grow with the practice and could suit someone currently at a larger consultancy who is ready for more autonomy and a bigger say in project outcomes.
