Mechanical Engineer To $140K + paid overtime + bonus

A lot of mechanical design engineers spend their careers designing projects they never see built. Someone else handles the site queries. Someone else does commissioning. They just do the concept design, hand it over and move on to the next one.

Established five years ago, this privately owned consultancy has revolutionised the way complex projects are designed, built and commissioned.

Due to growth they are now looking for a client facing, Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead projects from inception to commissioning.

Here you'll get to work on Tier 1 sized projects, with no office politics or unnecessary red tape.

Here you'll be involved in projects from concept through to practical completion and full MEP commissioning. You'll work in a team of 20 supportive, intelligent and friendly and inquisitive M&E Design Engineers on major projects such as data centres, hospitals, labs and major transport infrastructure schemes.

Here you won't just be a number, you'll become a key member of the team and work directly alongside the founding director.

You'll learn how to produce a level of detail that simply doesn't happen at other consultancies. You'll also learn about AI, automation and digital engineering.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in the built environment, either with a consultancy or design and construct company.
• Good communication skills
• Digitally savvy with a range of software such as Camel or Carrier, Revit, Bluebeam Navisworks or H2X.

Please note, this is a Mechanical Design Engineer role, within the built environment. Previous experience in Building Services is essential.
