Senior Client-Side Project Manager (Construction)

Looking for a role where you're trusted to run projects & not buried in layers of hierarchy?

This opportunity will suit a Senior Project Manager or experienced Project Manager ready to step up who enjoys autonomy and direct access to leadership.

You'll work closely with the Director (who still leads projects day-to-day) in a consultancy that has been delivering projects across Queensland for more than 20 years.

The team is small and experienced, which means you won't get lost in a huge corporate structure. Instead, you'll be trusted to manage projects, build client relationships and contribute to how the business operates.

And because the team is small and collaborative, you'll have visibility across the whole lifecycle of projects, not just your slice of them.

The kind of projects you'll be delivering

Most of the work comes from education and civic infrastructure, including ongoing work with government departments and private education clients.

There's also exposure to aged care and residential developments, giving you a broad project portfolio rather than being locked into one sector.

What makes this interesting is the strength of their client relationships.

Much of the work comes through repeat business, built over decades of delivering projects well. The consultancy also maintains strong relationships across key industry bodies and institutions, helping ensure a consistent pipeline of work.

What you'll need

* Minimum 5+ years' experience in client-side project management- Built enviroment no I.T or infrastructure please!
* Experience delivering building projects in sectors such as education, civic, aged care or residential or similar
* Strong communication skills and confidence managing stakeholders
* The ability to run projects independently while collaborating with a small team

This role would suit someone currently working as a Project Manager approaching Senior level, or someone already operating as a Senior PM who prefers a smaller consultancy environment.
