You're capable. You're technically strong. But you've started wondering whether there's a version of this career where you're doing more than producing drawings - where you're advising clients, managing projects, shaping outcomes rather than just delivering them.

This isn't a standard consultancy. The team of 42 operates across engineering design, project management, and technical advisory - and those disciplines sit side by side, not in separate silos. The business has been doing this for 12 years, and a lot of the project managers and advisors there today started exactly where you are now.
For the first 12 to 18 months, you'll be doing what you're good at - LV electrical design on base-building upgrade projects. Technical work, real complexity, nothing generic. But you'll be sitting alongside the project management team every day. You'll see how they work, pick up the language, and start building skills in advisory and consulting from the inside.
From there, the path is real. On your first week, the directors will sit down with you and build a development plan around where you actually want to go - with a training budget attached to it.
The balance is genuine too. Two days at home, three in the office. Five weeks leave from the start, more as you stay. A day off on your birthday.
