They are looking for a civil drafter with AutoCAD that has the desire to grow and learn as well as take on more responsibilities.
They can give you the guidance and training required, provided you're keen to put in the work.
Who is our client?
They are a design consultancy that only focuses on civil, hydraulic and fire engineering.
It is their lifeblood, their passion, and their great at it. They've been doing it for over 40 years, after all.
They literally set the standard in the industry. So much so, that they are often engaged to peer review the work of the bigger guys.
Whilst they are small (around 25), they compete on the big end of town (think Sydney Fish Markets big). They also cover healthcare, education, residential, commercial, correction and government projects.
They give their staff responsibility when they are ready, not when they hit a certain year of experience or grade.
If you want to be more technical, they will give you hands-on, one-to-one training, if you want to be more commercial, they'll get you involved in client meetings, if you want to manage people, they will give you the opportunity to do so.
They work hard, but they have fun whilst they are doing it.
They prefer their staff to be in the office 5 days a week, as they feel this is the best way to learn, but they try to make their environment as fun as possible…. So, work doesn't always feel like work.
