This position sits with one of the most exciting building services consultancies in the Australian market. Our client, headed up by some of the countries most experienced engineers, offer the unique blend of Tier 1 projects and service offerings, whilst maintaining the culture of a more traditional consultancy. They are now seeking to appoint an ESD Engineer
Day to day:
Embed sustainability into the design of building services projects using tools such as Greenstar, NABERS and WELL
Undertake design analysis, performance reporting and trouble shooting.
Advise clients on items such as sustainability strategy, sustainability awareness, decarbonisation, and circular economy.
Work on projects across the entire project lifecycle, with QA and support from seniors
What we need:
Engineering, Architecture, or built environment related degree.
Demonstrable consulting experience in the built environment sector.
Experience with preparing strategy, implementation, and certification of best practice certification schemes, including Green Star, ISCA IS ratings, NABERS, EnviroDevelopment, and WELL Building Standard.
Developed knowledge of engineering and architectural principles to analyse and interpret documentation and drawings.
Possess a body of knowledge that allows you to evaluate ESD attributes and opportunities within designs, and where improvements are required (mechanical, façade, spatial, etc.).
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team and environment.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, effectively resourcing to meet client deadlines.
