They are large enough to compete on the big end of town and go for the Tier 1 projects.
Yet small enough that they can still be nimble and innovative.
Small enough that they don’t have bureaucracy and red tape.
Small enough that engineers still have the freedom to consult.
In just over a decade, they have grown to around 250 consultants. They have doubled in size in the last two years, and in the next 2 years, they intend to do the same. By 2028, they have plans to be a global entity with 800.
There is a genuine buzz about the place.
Although their roots are in Building Services (and they are top of their game)!), they are keen to take their successes into new sectors, and a year ago set up a structural engineering discipline.
Headed up by one a highly talented Director, they have gone from strength to strength, growing the team to 3 people, with plans to grow it to 6 in the coming months. They have an enviable pipeline of projects and are already highly regarded in the industry.
They are looking for an associate structural engineer to join them on their journey. Supported by the Director, you’ll work in a team lead role, taking responsibility on projects at a high level, whilst mentoring and managing a small but growing team, getting involved in business developments and building great relationships.
You’ll be paid fairly and receive a bonus when you do well. There will be potential to gain equity in the future. You’ll be given the flexibility to work from home a couple of days a week and be treated like an adult. You’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the residential, commercial, education, health, and industrial sectors.
You’ll have the opportunity to develop at your speed, build your own career path, and have the independence to be yourself.
