If you are looking for a consultancy that practices what they preach about work-life flexibility, then this Tier 3 Building Services consultancy could be a company you’ll be happy to be a part of.
So far into 2023, the year is shaping up well, they have a full pipeline for the year ahead, so you won’t have to worry about what’s coming in. The business recently moved into a new and larger office in the CBD to facilitate its growth. As a business that truly ensures they are not overloading their staff, you will be rewarded with long weekends for every bank holiday and internal lockout emails after 6 pm to ensure you and the rest of the team are not working after hours to avoid burnout. The culture is made up of a relatively young team aged 24-36, they enjoy good banter in the office, and as part of bringing the team together, you will be treated to a team bonding event once a month during working hours such as go-carting, paintballing etc. You will have a flexible hybrid approach of working from home for two days per week, and you celebrate birthdays off.
The business is a specialist multi-discipline building services consultancy, which is locally owned and has grown to 30 engineers since its inception 10 years ago.
In terms of projects, the business takes on up to 150 per year, from small to medium size, with the main sectors you will be working on being Commercial Offices (new build and existing), Industrial, and Residential.
As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer, you will be working alongside the Building Services Manager and leaders for each discipline. You’ll take ownership of multi-discipline projects and build relationships with key clients. You’ll set work for juniors, mentor them in their technical growth, and look after the quality assurance of the designs.
