Salary Guide - Building Services Design - 2020

Connexus have recently compiled the data from our 2020 placements along with market research to present a salary guide that provides some guidance on salary benchmarking. In general, we have seen salaries stay consistent across the board, however some consultants are reporting a 5-10% drop in total salary packages due to COVID 19.

In recent years, we have seen a shortage of intermediate engineers across the board, as well as Fire Safety (C10) and Fire Protection (FPAS) accredited engineers which has been driving salaries upwards, however the market seems to be corrected itself during COVID.

Note that the bandings are quite wide, taking into account those engineers with accreditations such as CPEng, C10, FPAS and those with the ability to lead, win work, anddrive growth into new areas been at the higher end of the scale.
