Connexus have recently compiled the data from our 2020/2021 placements along with market research to present a salary guide that provides some guidance on salary benchmarking. In general, we have seen an increase of between 5 and 10% this financial year as the market demand for skilled engineers continues to rise.
In particular, we have seen the largest increase in Fire Protection Engineers (FPAS), Hydraulic Engineers (all levels) and Fire Safety Engineers (C10).
Note that the bandings are quite wide, considering those engineers with accreditations such as CPEng, C10, FPAS and those with the ability to lead, win work, and drive growth into new areas been at the higher end of the scale.
